I think in series. I'm not even sure I know how to write a stand-alone book. I've been moderately obsessed with the apparent death of the monthly paperback series. Sweet Valley, Babysitters Club, the mighty Goosebumps, our own Animorphs, and nothing quite like any of those since. I talk to editors about it. They tell me it doesn't make economic sense anymore. I don't know, that's above my pay grade, but it sure seems to me that if there are willing buyers there should be willing sellers. It always bothers me when I see what looks like a hole in the market. I always feel I should be doing something about it. I just feel instinctively that this wants to be done.
